LA GATOR Scholarship Program
Education Savings Accounts (ESAs) for eligible families to cover:
- Private school tuition
- Tutoring Therapies
- Dual enrollment
- Educational materials Award amounts: Up to $15,253 (students with disabilities), $7,626 (low-income), $5,243 (others)
School Choice for Students with Exceptionalities
State-funded tuition support to attend eligible nonpublic schools. Available in parishes like Orleans, Jefferson, and East Baton Rouge. For students with an IEP.
Enrichment & Specialized Programs Louisiana A+ Schools (LAA+)
For schools using arts-integrated learning. Increases student engagement and achievement.
Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts (LSMSA)
A public, residential high school for advanced students in grades 10–12. Offers top-tier STEM and arts education.
EAST Initiative
Available in some LA schools. Hands-on, project-based learning in technology, arts, and community improvement.
College Prep & Scholarships Taylor Opportunity Program for Students (TOPS)
Merit-based college scholarships for Louisiana students. Covers public and some private college tuition.
Cam Jordan Transformative Legacy Scholarship (New in 2025!)
- 4 students each year receive up to $12,500 per year for 4 years
- Includes mentorship, Microsoft laptop, internship opportunities
Jefferson Dollars for Scholars (Jefferson Parish only)
Programs include:
- Summer enrichment camps (K–8)
- ACT prep & PSAT/NMSQT help
- College scholarships Laptop grants
Civic Engagement YMCA Louisiana Youth & Government
Mock state government program for high schoolers. Students serve as lawmakers, judges, journalists, and more during a 3-day statewide event.
